Halloween is fully unpacked at Magic Kingdom, Food & Wine is in its quiet sweet spot, and the crowds are about as gentle as they get. Here's your week ahead.
Happy Sunday! 🍂 If you're heading to the parks this week, you picked one of my favorite stretches of the whole year. Mid-September is that lovely little pocket where summer crowds are long gone, the Halloween decorations are up, and you can still get on things without sprinting. Here's what to know.
What's Happening in the Parks
Magic Kingdom is in full Halloween mode. The pumpkin bunting is on Main Street, the Cinderella Castle decor is up, and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is running on select nights. This is the part people forget: on party nights, Magic Kingdom closes early to regular day guests (usually 6pm), and party guests start filtering in around 4pm. Check the calendar before you commit to an MK day. If your date is a party night and you don't have a party ticket, treat it as a half day and hop somewhere else for the evening.
