Disney's All-Star Movies Resort
Giant Buzz Lightyear, 101 Dalmatians, and Fantasia icons tower over the buildings at Disney's most budget-friendly tier, where the toys-scale theming does the entertaining and the price does the convincing. Movies is the pick of the three All-Stars for families, because the Toy Story and Dalmatians courtyards are genuinely fun to walk through, rooms have been refreshed with the same queen-beds-and-hard-floors package as the other values, and the Fantasia-themed feature pool has Sorcerer Mickey spraying swimmers. Transportation is buses only, and at peak times the All-Stars share them (Movies boards last on shared routes, which is a real consideration). No Skyliner, no frills, but for a park-commando trip where the room is a place to sleep and shower, the savings are real money better spent on Lightning Lanes and Dole Whips.
๐๏ธ The Rooms
Renovated rooms mirror Pop Century's playbook: a queen plus fold down murphy bed, hard floors, decent storage, all crisp and simple. Fantasia buildings sit closest to the lobby and bus stop, which matters at a resort this spread out. These are the rooms for crews who treat the hotel as a landing pad between rope drop and fireworks.
โจ The Lobby & Grounds
Cinema Hall keeps it simple inside, but the courtyards deliver: hundred foot Buzz Lightyear, green army men guarding Toy Story land, Pongo and Perdita over the Dalmatian buildings, and Sorcerer Mickey commanding the Fantasia pool. It is the most photogenic of the All-Stars and an easy joy for the stroller crowd.
๐ Pools & Recreation
The Fantasia pool under Sorcerer Mickey is the main swim with a kids' splash zone, and the Duck Pond pool behind the hockey buildings stays mellower. Nothing fancy, just sunshine and a clean pool after park days, plus a playground and arcade for burning off the last energy of the night.
๐ฝ๏ธ Dining at All-Star Movies Resort
The World Premiere food court handles the standards reliably, with the pool bar for evening drinks. There is no table service and no Skyliner here, so plan on eating in the parks or Disney Springs. Groceries and the in room fridge stretch a budget further than any dining plan.

๐ Mal's Tips
At peak times the All-Stars share buses and Movies boards last, so pad your park mornings. Check prices across all three All-Stars before booking, they are rarely identical and this one usually runs a touch higher for the theming. It is the right call when the budget rules and the kids are Toy Story aged.
Best for: Lowest prices, giant movie icons, kid appeal
