Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
Six island-themed 'villages' in sherbet colors wrap around 45-acre Barefoot Bay, with white-sand beaches, hammocks, and the Old Port Royale hub housing dining and a fortress-themed feature pool with slides and water cannons. Caribbean Beach's fortunes transformed when it became the hub of the Skyliner network, and the gondolas connect it directly to EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and the other Skyliner resorts, which effectively upgrades a moderate-priced resort to deluxe-tier transportation for two parks. The resort is genuinely huge, so room location matters more than almost anywhere; villages near Old Port Royale or the Skyliner station save real walking. It's a solid, pretty, kid-friendly middle option, and for Skyliner access at moderate prices, only its sister Riviera does better.
🛏️ The Rooms
Rooms spread across five island themed villages in pastel buildings, most recently refreshed with bright, beachy finishes and murphy style fifth sleeper beds in many. Village choice matters more than room type: Jamaica and Aruba sit closest to the Skyliner station, Martinique closest to the main pool and food court. Preferred rooms cut the walking, and at this resort the walking is real.
✨ The Lobby & Grounds
The Old Port Royale hub does colonial Caribbean market energy with its food court, restaurant, and services under one roof, and the lakeside promenade strings the villages together with hammocks and beaches along the way. The centerpiece is really outside: Barefoot Bay, the big lake, with bridges to Caribbean Cay island in the middle, all palm trees and screened gazebos.
🏊 Pools & Recreation
The Fuentes del Morro pool is a Spanish fortress with cannons that actually fire water, two slides, and a splash fortress for the small crew, one of the best moderate pools anywhere. Each village also keeps its own quiet leisure pool, which saves the day when the fort gets loud. Bike rentals and the lake loop trail round it out.
🍽️ Dining at Caribbean Beach Resort
Sebastian's Bistro does a genuinely good Caribbean leaning table service dinner by the water, and the Centertown Market food court covers the rest with better than average variety. Banana Cabana, the pool bar, punches above its weight on cocktails. The Skyliner also puts the Riviera's Primo Piatto and all of EPCOT's food a gondola ride away, which changes everything.

Book Jamaica or Aruba villages and the Skyliner becomes your front door to two parks; that is the whole cheat code of this resort. The lake loop at sunrise is one of the prettiest walks on property. And at EPCOT closing time, skip the first packed gondolas and grab a snack, the line clears fast.
