Disney's Yacht Club Resort

TBD
Boat🚶 Walkable🚌 Bus

The Beach Club's sibling next door shares everything that matters: the same five-minute walk to EPCOT, the same boat to Hollywood Studios, and full access to Stormalong Bay, the best pool complex on property. It just wraps all of it in a more polished, nautical New England yacht-club package: navy blues, brass fittings, a lighthouse on the pier. The practical difference is atmosphere: the Yacht Club runs quieter and more adult, with a large convention business, fewer shrieking cannonballs at the quiet pool, and the Yachtsman Steakhouse anchoring the dining. Crew's Cup Lounge is a genuinely cozy spot for a post-park drink. If you want the Beach Club's location with a slightly more grown-up energy (often at a slightly better rate), this is the play.

🛏️ The Rooms

Rooms mirror the Beach Club's size but dress in crisper navy and white with brass fixtures and subtle ship detailing. Most sleep five, many have full balconies (more than the Beach Club side), and water views over Crescent Lake are worth the ask. The vibe skews slightly adult and slightly quieter, which is exactly why repeat visitors without kids often pick this side of the complex.

The Lobby & Grounds

The lobby reads like a New England yacht club: a globe by the fireplace, model ships in cases, polished wood floors, and staff in regatta stripes. It is calmer than almost any other deluxe lobby, which sets the tone for the whole hotel. Out back, the lighthouse on the pier is the photo spot, and the same lakeside promenade connects you to the BoardWalk and EPCOT.

🏊 Pools & Recreation

You share Stormalong Bay with the Beach Club, and the shipwreck waterslide actually launches from the Yacht Club end. Three acres of lazy river, sand bottom shallows, and whirlpools make it the best pool complex on property. The Admiral quiet pool handles low key days, and the marina rents everything from surrey bikes to little boats.

🍽️ Dining at Yacht Club Resort

Yachtsman Steakhouse is the anchor, a proper dry aged steakhouse that holds its own against Disney Springs' big names. Ale & Compass does hearty New England comfort breakfasts and dinners, its lounge pours a great nightcap, and The Market covers grab and go. Then the whole Crescent Lake neighborhood, Beaches & Cream included, is outside your door.

🎀 Mal's Tips

If Stormalong Bay is your priority but Beach Club is booked, this is the same pool with a different lobby. The walk to Hollywood Studios along the water takes about twenty minutes and beats the boat when lines are long. Solid choice for food and wine trips: you can walk home from World Showcase after one snack too many.

Best for: Stormalong Bay, quieter vibe, Yachtsman Steakhouse
