Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
A sprawling Victorian-horse-country villa resort modeled on the 1880s spa retreats of upstate New York, directly across the water from Disney Springs, where a stroll or a short boat ride puts the whole dining-and-shopping district at your door. Saratoga is all villas (studios through three-bedroom grand villas with full kitchens and laundry), which makes it one of the best-value ways for larger families to stay 'deluxe-adjacent' on property, especially via DVC point rentals. The trade-offs are size and distance: the resort is big enough that room location matters (ask for Congress Park to be near the Springs walk) and park access is buses only. On-site: the Senses spa, a golf course, multiple quiet pools, and a generally serene, grown-up pace.
🛏️ The Rooms
Everything here is a villa: studios through three bedroom grand villas and the standalone Treehouse Villas raised on stilts in the woods. Kitchens, laundry, and space are the selling points, and recent refurbishments brightened the whole inventory. The resort sprawls, so location matters: The Springs and Congress Park sections put you closest to the lobby and the Disney Springs walking path respectively.
✨ The Lobby & Grounds
The theme is Saratoga's 1880s heyday of springs, racing, and Victorian porches, carried in greens and florals through a bright, airy lobby. It is Disney's most understated theming, which is exactly why people who find the castles exhausting love it. The grounds are the real amenity: gardens, lakes, and the footbridge over to the lights of Disney Springs.
🏊 Pools & Recreation
High Rock Spring pool anchors the resort with a waterfall, a slide winding through boulders, and a proper kids' splash zone, plus three quieter leisure pools spread through the sections so you are never far from a swim. Add the Lake Buena Vista golf course, bike rentals, and a full spa, and it is the most complete recreation lineup of the villa resorts.
🍽️ Dining at Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
On site it is intentionally low key: The Turf Club Bar & Grill does solid table service, The Artist's Palette covers counter meals, and the pool bars handle snacks. The real dining room is Disney Springs across the water, from Homecomin' to The Boathouse to Gideon's cookies, all a ten minute stroll. No other resort puts that much food within walking distance.

Walk to Disney Springs for dinner instead of driving anywhere; the path from Congress Park takes ten pretty minutes. Rental car folks: this is the easiest deluxe for parking and highway access. And Treehouse Villas are the best kept secret for families of six or seven who want the woods to themselves.
