Disney's homage to the European Riviera resorts Walt loved: limestone, wrought iron, citrus trees, and an art collection reimagining Disney characters through European masters' styles. The Riviera is a Disney Vacation Club property that books like a hotel, which means every room, from the clever studio 'tower rooms' for two up through grand villas, has residential polish and kitchenettes or full kitchens. Its station on the Skyliner gondola network puts both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios a scenic cable-car ride away. The crown jewel is Topolino's Terrace on the roof: the best character breakfast on property (artist Mickey and friends, with genuinely excellent food) and a refined signature dinner with fireworks views from both parks. Quiet, elegant, and criminally underrated by first-timers.

Every room is a villa, from the clever tower studios for two (the cheapest way into this hotel) up through grand villas sleeping twelve. All have kitchenettes or full kitchens, laundry in the bigger sizes, and a finish level that reads more boutique hotel than theme park. The Murphy beds hide in gorgeous woodwork and the showers are the best on property. It is Disney's most grown up room product.

The lobby channels a Mediterranean grand hotel: soft archways, mosaic floors, and art everywhere that quietly reimagines Disney characters through European painters' styles. Give the artwork ten minutes, it rewards attention. Outside, the grounds slope down to the Skyliner station through citrus trees and fountains, and the whole property feels calm in a way the bigger resorts rarely manage.
🏊 Pools & Recreation
The Riviera pool is elegant rather than wild, with a sculpted slide tower, a family splash zone styled after boat pond toys, and rows of proper loungers. S'il Vous Play is the kids' water area and genuinely charming. It is not Stormalong Bay and does not want to be; afternoons here feel like an actual holiday on the Med, espresso from Le Petit Cafe included.
🍽️ Dining at Riviera Resort
Topolino's Terrace on the roof is the crown jewel: the best character breakfast on property with Mickey and friends in artist garb, then refined dinners with fireworks from two parks visible at once. Primo Piatto handles quick service far above food court standard, Bar Riva pours spritzes by the pool, and Le Petit Cafe turns into a wine bar at night.
Topolino's Terrace

The best character-dining food at Walt Disney World, served on the Riviera's rooftop. At breakfast, Mickey and friends appear in artist garb, Mickey the painter and Minnie the poet, visiting tables while you eat genuinely excellent food: wild-berry-stuffed beignets, sour cream waffles with roasted chicken, a wood-fired frittata. At night the characters clock out and Topolino's becomes a proper signature restaurant of French and Italian cooking with fireworks visible from both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios off the terrace. The Skyliner delivers you almost to the lobby. For families who want characters without sacrificing the meal itself, this is the reservation to fight for.

Ride the Skyliner to EPCOT for dinner and back; the gondola at dusk is its own attraction. Book Topolino's breakfast before park opening, then walk onto the Skyliner ahead of the crowds. Tower studios sell out first, they are the best room value in the deluxe tier.
