If you searched for Disney World outfit ideas for November, I already know your problem: the forecast says a low of 56 and a high of 82, and you have no idea what that means for a park day. I have done November trips four times now, and I promise it is the most confusing month to pack for in the entire year. It is also, honestly, my favorite month to be there. 🍂

What November weather actually feels like

Early November (roughly the 1st through the 12th) still feels like summer's polite cousin. Afternoons hit low 80s, mornings are mild, and you will sweat walking from the Magic Kingdom bus stop to the tapstiles.

After about the 15th, mornings genuinely get cold. I have stood at rope drop in a 54 degree fog wishing I had brought gloves, then been carrying my jacket by 11am in a tank top. Thanksgiving week is unpredictable: it can be 85 or it can be 60 all day.

The real rule is that the temperature swing is 25 to 30 degrees in a single day. You are not dressing for a temperature, you are dressing for a range.

My November layering formula

This is the thing I would tell a friend in one sentence: wear your summer outfit, then add one layer you would be happy to carry.

• Base: the outfit you would wear in July. Tank top and shorts, a sundress, a skort and a fitted tee.
• Layer: an oversized flannel, a cropped crewneck, a denim jacket, or a lightweight cardigan.
• Backup: a packable rain jacket in your bag from about November 1 onward, because pop-up showers still happen.

The layer matters more than you think, because the layer is what you will be holding for six hours. Skip the bulky fleece. A flannel tied around your waist looks intentional. A puffy coat stuffed in a park bag does not.

Outfit ideas by park

Magic Kingdom: This is where I go full holiday if I am there after the Christmas overlay starts (usually the first week of November). Cream cable knit sweater, denim shorts, white sneakers, red bow ears. It photographs beautifully against Main Street garland and it works whether it is 65 or 80.

[EPCOT](/parks/epcot): Food and Wine usually wraps up in mid-November and Festival of the Holidays picks up right after, so your outfit gets to be seasonal either way. I like a midi dress with a jean jacket for World Showcase because you are walking a lot and standing in food lines. Pockets are worth prioritizing here more than anywhere else.

[Hollywood Studios](/parks/hollywood-studios): Mornings here are the coldest because so much of the park is shaded and you are standing in queues. Long sleeve tee, shorts, and a crossbody. If Jollywood Nights is happening during your trip, that is your one night to go slightly dressy: a satin or velvet touch reads perfectly against the Hollywood Tower Hotel.

[Animal Kingdom](/parks/animal-kingdom): Warmest park, always. Even in late November I stay in a tank and shorts here and just bring a flannel for the 8am safari. Closed toe shoes, no question, because of dust and the walking distance on the trails.

Ears that make sense in November

November is genuinely the best ears month because both fall and holiday styles are on shelves at once. My picks:

• Plaid or flannel ears for early November
• Red velvet bow ears once the Christmas decor is up
• A cozy knit headband style for cold mornings (doubles as actual warmth)

Sneakers, broken in, with real socks. November mornings are damp, and wet ankles at 8am ruin a day faster than rain does.

The forgotten item: a light scarf or a second pair of socks in your bag. For nighttime shows like Happily Ever After in late November, the temperature drops fast once the sun sets around 5:30pm. You will be sitting still on pavement for 20 minutes. That tiny extra layer is the difference between enjoying the fireworks and counting down to the bus.
